Ramiro Diez Zaera

Mr. Ramiro Diez is an assistant professor of Industrial Engineering Department at Universidad Europea de Madrid. Mr. Diez received a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid in 1996 and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Electronic and Automation Engineering from Universidad Carlos III of Madrid in 2003.

Professor Diez research interests lie in the areas of systems engineering and automation; robotics, simulation and control and automation in construction. He has participated in national and international research and development projects in robotics and automation. He has published refereed articles in international journals, as well as at conference proceedings.

Mr. Diez contributed to the local organization of “The 16th International Symposium on Automation and Robotics in Construction” in 1999 in Madrid. In 2003, he received The Best Paper Award at the ISARC2003 Symposium in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
